As we are welcoming the New Year with all it’s challenges and exciting horse events coming up, it’s with pleasure and pride we remember all the magic moments we have had together with a lot of promising horses and prospects over the last year.

With Jonas Skjærbæk beating mom and dad - an upcoming star and exstremely serious junior rider has joined the family traditions on the dressage arenas. Jonas Skjærbæk with Tailormade Red Rebel sponsored by Tailormade Horses, had a great weekend at Morsø by winning two classes – MB0 with 70,256 % and showing his dad to a fourth place,- And in the MB2 winning with 71,645 % and showing mom to a second place. Jonas has been competing with Tailormade Red Rebel in 2014 and with lots of wins and placements. The couple are on the National Brutto Team and it’s with great expectations we look forward at the season 2015.

Skovens Rafael proved already in 2013 his potential as a Sire as he, with a small number of offspring, managed to influence the top of the Scandinavien Championships and so he did again in 2014 .

By passing on his excellent gaites and fabulous ridability as seen at the Swedish Breeding and Sports Championships, where his offspring indeed showed their qualities , Skovens Rafael was honored with Folksams Great Stallion Prize 2014. The prize has been given to the two stallions with the most successful offspring in respective dressage and jumping since 2009 in Folksam Scandinavia Open for 5 and 6 year-old horses. The Sires gets points for their offspring and Skovens Rafael having two sons at the top also this year, clearly shows again how he gives on his fantastic values to his offspring.

Also here in Denmark his offspring has certainly being showing their qualities.

Skovens Rafael son Revolution superior winner and Champion for 5 year-old dressage horses in Falsterbo and Seventh in the World Championships for 5 year-old dressage horses in Verden among other big results, continue to show his outstanding qualities with his rider Anna Svanberg.

Also U – Bolt by Skovens Rafael / Cortege ridden by Emilie Nyreröd, showed in the finals at the Swedish Young Horse Championships 2014 how much U –Bolt has developed over the winter.

At the Swedish Breeders Championship for 4-year old dressage horses London by Skovens Rafael/ Londonderry became runner up with the score 91,45 %,well ridden by his rider Maria Von Essen.

We are looking forward to follow these fantastic horses in the future.

Respekt sired by Skovens Rafael / Come Back II and ridden by his new owner Stine Harfaldet Bråthen achieved 75 % in the First test for 5 year-old horses and in the final test I Norway the couple won with 78 %.

Sandbæks Rio-El by Skovens Rafael/De Noir winder of Stall-K’s Championships for 4 year-old dressage horses in Norway, Winner and Champion of JJ Horses Championships for Young Horses 2014. With these great results Rio and his new owner Elise Merethe Klaesson has won everything through out the year in Norway and we are looking forward seing the couple in Herning 2015.

A great achievement for both girls and horses and we are looking forward to following the two couples in their continuing dressage career.

Skovens Rafael son, Adrenalin Firfod by Skovens Rafael/Zalmiak Firfod – bred by Stud Firfod and owned and greatly shown by Helene Melsen was Winner of one Danish Riding Associations preliminary test's for 5 year-old dressage horses with the score 8,44 and a 9 for canter. Huge Congratulations to both breeder and owner.

Safir sired by Skovens Rafael and Lotte Skjærbæk are on their way at M-level with lots of great results in 2014.

Campari by Concetto/ Silvio I and Per Skjærbæk has had an absolute outstanding season also in 2014 among the top of the

6-years old at JBK,Odense and also at the Scandinavia Open in Falsterbo and at Stockholm International Horse Show at the Champion of the Winners.

Tailormade Ralph Laurén by Skovens Rafael / A-Dur and Per Skjærbæk achived 8,420 points with a 9 for the walk and 8,5 for trot and capacity, and in the top at the finals for 6-year old dressage horses in Odense.

We are proud having some of the best 6-year old horses in the stable.

Sophie Kampmann,German Pony Team Medalist and now Junior rider and Berlusconi by Bellisimo/Florenstan I became a new couple in 2014 and we have big expectations to this fantastic couple and are looking forward to following them in the future.

One of the most talented young horses from Priess Stud, Diamond Dancer by Don Diamond / Florencio whom achived one of the highest score at the Danish Riding Associations Championship / Qualifikation for young horses, with a total of 8,960 points and a 9,2 for his walk and a 9 for rideability is going to continue his promising career Down Under at Rosenborg Stud,Sydney –Australia,owned by Briony Fyrkilde-Velling . In charge of the further education will be the National dressage rider Charlotte Pedersen.

The United States Equestrian Federation has awarded Cathrine Haddad-Staller a Dressage High Performance Pre-Games Training and Competition Grant and with her horse Mane Stream Hotmail sold from Priess Horses, the couple is currently no. 10 on the 2014 U.S Weg Selection Ranking List after having had a lot of good competition results in Europe in 2014.

At the A.O.S Auction we bought two of the most promising young stallions – Brilliant by Bretton Woods / Diamond Hit / Landro L who became Champion and Siegerhengst at Mecklenburg-Studbook in Germany three weeks after we bought him and now has been accepted at the first Pre-Selection at KWPN in Holland,showing lots of carriage,movement,rhythm and balance.

We also bought the very promising Foundation son Frenchman by Foundation/Castro/Inschallah AA  - Two very exiting stallions for the future.

The wish of gathering all foals and youngsters together came through last year and we have a lot of interesting prospects for the upcoming season at our Stud Solvang.
